Mares and Foals

Becky Bar Lucky. After delivering 12 fine foals for Rider Ranch in AZ, we are honored to have Becky in our herd. She has given us one gorgeous bay Rene Dan Jet foal whom we've named Homespun Legend.  This year, 2006, she gave us a big, gentle bay colt who was people friendly from day one!

Mini Mac has her Rene Dan Jet filly! It is tiny with a splashy face that is going to be flashy going thru that pole pattern in a few years! She is as excellent a mother as she was performance horse. But she really dotes on this baby and seems very happy. She may have found her calling!

Rosie is a 1997 bay daughter of Dana D Daisy who placed 8th in Halter at the 1989 AQHYouthA World. She is by Sunday Homespun out of a Bobs Bar Bobby mare so carries all of the best breeding of Rider Ranch. She is bred to Rene Dan Jet for a March 2005 foal.

Kui (Keep on Guessin') is a mare that won the Stock Horse at Halter class at the CA Mid State Fair, ran barrels, and was heeled on before entering the brood mare band. She goes to Big Tiny, Joe Hancock, and has Doc Bar on her papers on the bottom side. She is incredibly cowy and has a burning desire to run. She has given us two palomino foals and one dark brown. All are good enough looking for the halter pen with smooth action to run.

Randee Mae is a 1986 bay roan Bobs Bar Bobby mare who has produced some of Rider Ranch's fanciest and fastest selling foals. We are honored to have her with all her silly charecter and personality even if only for a couple more years. When we brought her to California last year she hadn't been ridden for 8-10 years. I jumped on bareback with a halter and took off around the neighborhood. She has an incredible handle, spin, and back and was gentle as a lamb even after all those years. This lovely disposition is what we are trying so hard to preserve. She is bred to Rene Dan Jet for an April 2005 foal.

Della is the Queen of the Lazy K Bar T.   She is a 1989 model who won her first buckle (and mine) when she was 3 years old.  She has been running the same perfectly consistent barrel and pole patterns since and has won untold amounts of money and buckles.  She was also a finished rope horse either end and a dandy team penner.  She is so cowy you just better hang on because this 16.1 hand mare will turn out from under you.  She is the most sensitive and willing horse I have ever met and she is the reason we own all the rest of the Baldy Joe/Bobs Bar Bobby horses.  No one ever forgets meeting or riding Della.  She is due with a Rene Dan Jet foal in March 2005.
